Space Age

Space Age は、

1950年代に生まれたエレクトリックギターとアンプの音色を手がかりに、

即興演奏によって、レトロでアンビエントな響きを

夜の空間にゆっくりと滲ませていく音楽プロジェクト。

演奏は全編即興を軸にしながら、

親しみのある楽曲や、記憶の奥に沈んでいた断片が、

歪みや揺らぎ、余韻をまといながら現れては消えていく。

アナログならではの質感や、

音が立ち上がるまでの“間”、

鳴り終わったあとに残る沈黙も、

音楽の一部として扱われる。

そこにあるのは、

感情を高ぶらせるための音楽ではなく、

いつのまにか触れてしまう音楽。

懐かしさとも、新しさとも言い切れない感覚が、

その夜の空気の中に静かに残っていく。

Space Age is a music project that explores retro and ambient sound through improvisation,

drawing inspiration from the electric guitars and amplifiers that emerged in the 1950s.

Each performance unfolds entirely in the moment.

Familiar melodies and fragments of memory surface, distort, and dissolve—

wrapped in analogue textures, subtle fluctuations, and long decays.

The space between notes, the breath before sound,

and the silence left behind are treated as part of the music itself.

Rather than aiming to provoke emotion,

the music allows feeling to appear naturally—

somewhere between recognition and discovery.

What remains is not a statement, but an afterimage:

a lingering sense of time gently shifting within the night.
